Students love to use their phones. They also love to save money. By combining these two traits, we can encourage students to leave their phones in their lockers and focus on learning at school. Pocket Points is designed to help them do just that. The mobile software uses geo-fence technology to know whether students are on or off campus, and gives students rewards for not using their mobile devices. Students open the app, lock their phones, and start accumulating points. Points are then used to obtain discounts at local and online businesses.
ABC Services Group, Inc., as Assignee of Pocket Points, Inc., is soliciting competing offers to sell the remaining assets of Pocket Points, which was engaged in the development of computer and mobile and cellular phones for incentivizing students for not using their smartphones in class.
